Why Jealousy is a Good Thing

Why Jealousy is a Good Thing

Trust me.  Jealousy is a very good thing, when it’s channeled properly of course! In this week’s Feed Her Soul episode I dive into why jealousy is a good thing and how I’ve personally leveraged “jealous” feelings to launch my life in a completely new direction.  Your feelings and emotions are gifts and when you understand them on a deeper level you begin to pay very close attention to them what the underlying truth is inside of you.  An excellent book that opened my eyes to what my emotions are is The Astonishing Power of Emotions by Esther and Jerry Hicks.  It’s one of my personal favorites and I highly recommend it if it speaks to you.

Comment below, darling!  I want to know:

Are you the jealous type?

What else do you think jealous emotions represent – did I leave something out on this post?

Have you read The Astonishing Power of Emotions, or any of the Esther Hicks’ books?

How do you “feel” about today’s post?

Looking forward to reading your comments!

The Best Time to Meditate

The Best Time to Meditate

I’ll be honest with you, the best time (for me) to meditate is first thing in the morning, but I know this doesn’t work with everyone’s schedules.  Over the years it’s become my morning ritual to wake up and walk down stairs first thing to meditate.  Not only does it set the tone for my entire day, but Spiritual and Personal Development are amongst the two most important things that I do in my life and that’s why I make it a priority.

In today’s Feed Her Soul TV episode, check out what I’ve learned over the years regarding the best time to meditate.  You may be surprised!

And after you watch I want to hear from you in the comments section below!  Let me know:

How to Prepare for Something BIG (My Half Marathon Journey)

How to Prepare for Something BIG (My Half Marathon Journey)

Have you ever signed up for something and then questioned your sanity after the fact?  HA…!  That’s exactly what I did last year after I signed up for the Miami Half Marathon.  A friend talked me into signing up and with an entire year to train I figured I’d have no problem achieving my goal.  I mapped out a monthly training schedule and looked forward to destination training runs throughout South Florida; but neither of these happened.  I fell off track constantly and I never once ran outside of my surrounding neighborhood.  Some months I could barely run because of my hectic schedule, or from a lack of time and energy, and other months I didn’t run at all.  Many times I felt like there was no way in hell I’d finish alive.  So I granted myself permission – as long as I showed up, I allowed myself to walk if I needed to, and when I could I would train.

There was one run that made all the difference though.  The Universal synchronicity was undeniable and I knew I was being Divinely guided to keep going when I all I wanted to do was GIVE UP.  Watch today’s video blog (VLOG) to hear all about it.  This one phrase carried me through all the months of training, excuses and the times when I felt like giving up altogether.

What’s the farthest distance you’ve ran?

Have you ran a half or full marathon before?  Would you?  Why or why not?

What do you do to shift your energy from the inside out?

Leave a comment below!!  I want to hear from you!!

How to Escape Addiction

Everything is Energy

How We Interpret Energy, Vibration & Frequency

How We Interpret Energy, Vibration & Frequency

There is no past and there is no future.  All that exists is energy in motion in the here and now expressing itself in the physical form, creating reality.  Our thoughts, emotions, and the very world we live in is all energy and our senses are interpreting the vibration of this energy so that our brains can process this and allow us to experience the present moment that we are living.

If you were to place a rock, your hand or even a piece of paper under a very strong microscope you will see that on a molecular level, everything is made up of the same things: atoms comprised of protons, neutrons and electrons that are all buzzing around creating a vibration.

When children learn they are not learning based on the words that we tell them.  They are interpreting the essence of the words, the actions and the underlying energy connected to those.

When someone is trying to sell you something you can feel if from a mile away – you are sensing their “off” energy, aka their vibe or vibration.

E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G is energy!

What other energy examples can you think of?

How to Escape Addiction

How to Escape Addiction

Addiction is common – very common actually.  So first and foremost, if you currently struggle with it I want for you to know that you are not alone (at all).  Whether it’s an addiction to shopping, drugs, sex, food, unhealthy relationships, or cigarettes, addiction plays a roll in just about everyone’s life at some time or another.

I’ve personally dealt with addiction on many different levels.  These personal experiences combined with my Spiritual knowledge allow me to view it all a little differently.  When I see someone struggling with addiction I see a soul that has lost its way.  I see layers and layers of unhealed traumas.  I see someone who is desperate to feel good, but doesn’t know what real happiness feels like.  I see someone who is not in their right mind.  I see the aftermath of what happened because they held in their emotions and didn’t forgive or therapeutically release them in order allow a healing process.

I have seen all outcomes – those who have taken the easy road and traded in their life for an addiction, those who didn’t stop fighting and rose above and conquered it, and those who have lost the battle altogether and are no longer alive.  I’m grateful to say that I am among those who who never stopped fighting and conquered addiction on several occasions.  And if you are currently struggling with it yourself, I want you to know that there is a way out and YOU CAN do this.  I promise you.

In today’s Feed Her Soul episode I share about the Spiritual side to addiction and the two main things that I did to escape it.  I bet they are not what you expected, so I’m eager to read your comments.  I encourage you to share today’s video blog with any friend who might be dealing with addiction, or who has overcome it.  These powerful insights may just be exactly what someone needs to hear.

With love,

Ro

Q’s.  Addiction is a very important and serious topic. I encourage you to take 2 minutes to respond to a few of the questions below.

Were my examples of how to escape addiction what you expected?

What addictions have you overcome?

What is your biggest struggle?

If you overcame addiction, is there anything you would have done differently looking back?

What advice do you have to those who are working through their addiction?

I sincerely look forward to reading and responding to all of your comments!
